Performance Medicine
Performance medicine to us means helping you meet your goals with your horse.  This
could be sustaining or achieving the highest level of competitive performance or providing
continuing comfort for an old friend.

We use radiographic imaging to assess skeletal issues in lameness workups and
prepurchase exams.

Two ultrasound machines are available for evaluation of soft tissue injuries and healing
progress.

Fiberoptic endoscopy is used to visualize the upper airway in cases of exercise
intolerance.

When a specific joint issue is identified intraarticular injection therapy is often the best
treatment option.  This is especially true with hock and coffin joint pain.
