Meet The Staff
Dr. Tom Everman received his DVM degree from Washington State University in 1976. He began his veterinary career at Redmond Veterinary Clinic in Redmond, Oregon, seeing all types of animals. In January 1980, Dr. Everman and his wife Kathy moved to San Diego to pursue their equine interests. In 1994, Dr. Everman, with Kathy and their three children, moved to their present home on 60 acres in the Applegate Valley. Kathy operates the dressage training stable Hidden Meadows Dressage on the farm. Their three grown children are all engaged in successful careers out of state. Dr. Everman enjoys spending his free time on the golf course and working on his farm.
Dr. Jason Bradley received his DVM degree from Colorado State University in 2006. Upon graduating, he accepted a position here at South Side Equine Clinic. He worked from July 2006-November 2008, at which time he returned to his home town of Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he gained valuable experience working at a predominately equine practice. In March 2014, Dr. Bradley returned to join the practice as a managing partner. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife, Constance, and their three young sons, Brock, Titus, and Jax.
Kim Kabot began managing the office in 2009. Her experience has made her invaluable as one of South Side’s team members. She is very involved in the horse world. Kim enjoys trail riding and spending time with her husband and three adult children.
Melissa Conner has been a part of the South Side team since 2009, beginning as a receptionist, but now also working in the field as a veterinary assistant. She has competed in Equestrian Team, barrel racing, gymkhanas, endurance, and also trail rides extensively. On her days off, she can be found honing her skills for her photography business (Lorinda Imagery), taking pictures of people and horses and everything in between.
Jayme Mahler began working at South Side as a veterinary assistant in 2012. She is a great asset to our team, very capably handling the horses. She grew up around horses and showed extensively through her teenage years. Currently she is a student at Oregon Institute of Technology working toward a career in medical technology.
Zach Boehmer has worked at South Side as a veterinary assistant since March 2014. He has been around horses his entire life. In addition to working at the clinic, Zach shoes and trims horses, plus he starts their training with groundwork and under saddle. His fun-loving personality makes the workplace atmosphere light and fun. He is the proud father of his daughter, Raylynn, born in September, 2016.
Cassie Bare began working at South Side Equine in 2016 as a receptionist. Cassie and her husband Brent are natives of the Rogue Valley. They stay busy traveling to team roping events and high school sports with their daughter Brenna, and enjoying the country life with their many horses, dogs and steers.
